Epicenter teamed up with Herbox to offer free menstrual products

At Epicenter, we believe that access to menstrual products is a basic need that should be treated as such. That’s why we’re proud to announce our partnership with Herbox, one of the leading companies in the Nordics for menstrual care product dispensers, to provide free menstrual products in our toilets.

Our ongoing commitment to creating an inclusive and comfortable environment for all of our members and guests is at the forefront of this initiative.

–By offering these products for free, we hope to make a small but meaningful difference in the lives of all menstruating individuals who use our facilities. We believe that it is our responsibility to work towards a more equal society, and this is one way we can show our commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive community, describes Pauliina Raitolahti, Head of Service at Epicenter Helsinki,

We at Epicenter share Herbox’s vision of creating a society where everyone feels safe and secure, no matter what day of the month it is. The aim is to make period products as common as toilet paper in all restrooms, and we’re excited to take this step towards promoting inclusivity and accessibility in all workplaces and public spaces. Through this partnership, we are able to provide organic and sustainable menstrual care products through innovative dispensers with a mechanical time limit.

Breaking the Stigma

According to Herbox, 86% of women have had to leave their school or workplace at least once due to a lack of menstrual care products. We believe that this is an unacceptable reality, and we’re proud to be taking steps to change it. Our partnership with Herbox is just one of the ways we’re working towards making our facilities more inclusive and welcoming for all.

At Epicenter, we’re excited to make a positive impact for our members and guests, and we will continue to look for ways to promote inclusivity and accessibility in everything we do. We hope that other organizations will follow in our footsteps and recognize the importance of providing access to basic needs like menstrual products.
