Kone Voice UI is a research project that studies and tests how voice command user interfaces can be utilized in elevators. This innovative new technology allows users to control elevators using their voice. We are currently piloting it at our main elevator and would love for you to give it a try and share your thoughts with us.
One of the main perks of Voice UI is that it makes elevator rides more hygienic by allowing you to operate the elevator without touching buttons. It also enhances accessibility for those with disabilities or who have their hands full. Plus, you can call the elevator from a distance – we dare you to try how far.
Using Kone Voice UI is simple. Just say your destination floor, meeting room, or location in the building, and the system will call the elevator to the correct floor. Voice UI elevator calls can be made to all floors where you don’t need to show your access key. If you prefer using traditional buttons, don’t worry – the physical buttons on the elevator are still there for you to use.
As one of the first people to try out the Voice UI system at Epicenter, we encourage you to share your feedback with us through a series of user experience surveys. The first survey will ask about your expectations for the Voice UI system. Answering the survey will only take a few minutes, and you can leave your contact details at the end if you’re interested in participating in future surveys.
As a thank-you for all participants, we will be holding a lottery for three 50€ gift cards to Wolt.
So go ahead and give Voice UI a try and answer the first user survey. We can’t wait to hear your feedback!
