Case: Nutrilight’s takeover of the Retail Lab Store at Epicenter Store

“We had a packed schedule for every day, so don’t take a break. Be there and meet your clients and spoil them when you finally have the chance.” – Louise Henriksson, PR & Comm Nutrilight

We had the pleasure of having Nutrilight in our Retail Lab Store for two weeks of activations, events and exposure. As they left with brilliant results, we made sure to sit down with Louise to learn how they unlocked the full potential of the physical space.

Why did you choose the Retail Lab Store?

We chose the Retail Lab Store because we have our showroom and office at the fantastic Epicenter Stockholm, and saw an opportunity to try out our first pop-up close to home. Not to forget – Regeringsgatan is a very crowded street with a lot of people passing by, so we saw a big opportunity for both brand awareness and sales.

What has been the main benefit from your weeks here? Any surprising outcomes?

The main benefit was meeting so many both previous and new customers. From the start, we were a bit worried it wasn’t the typical “store location,” so we filled it up with a lot of stock to make the impression of “come and buy.” And the surprise…. was that the stock was gone when we left.

Any advice to share on how to maximize your physical space? What activities did you do, in connection to your physical presence, to elevate the experience?

Firstly, as mentioned, really fill it up with stock so it doesn’t just look like a showroom. You want people to feel welcome to step in from the street.

On top of that, we offered goodie bags and free tryouts of red light therapy in the store, invited influencers, held events with meditations, celebrated Valentine’s Day, and invited other startups we know from the building that we saw synergies with, as well as lectures and so on.

Simply put: we had a packed schedule for every day, so don’t take a break. Be there and meet your clients and spoil them when you finally have the chance!
