In his new book, “The Unsolvable Mysteries of the Universe,” bestselling author and theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss explores the enduring enigmas that five hundred years of modern science have yet to resolve. On September 2nd, he will join physicists Ulf Danielsson and Eleonora Svanberg in a discussion about the questions that continue to puzzle researchers.

Join us for an evening at Epicenter in Stockholm, delving into quantum physics, the enigma of consciousness, and the beginning and end of the universe. The evening will feature musical interludes by pianist Linn Bertland.

Participants:

  • Lawrence M. Krauss: An American cosmologist and theoretical physicist, Krauss is known for his popular science books such as “The Greatest Story Ever Told—So Far” and “A Universe from Nothing.” He also hosts “The Origins Podcast,” featuring guests like Steven Pinker, Noam Chomsky, and Carlo Rovelli.
  • Ulf Danielsson: A professor of physics at Uppsala University, Danielsson is a well-known science communicator on TV and radio. He has authored several acclaimed books, most recently “A Second in Eternity.”
  • Eleonora Svanberg: A doctoral candidate in mathematical physics at the University of Oxford, Svanberg is the founder of the nonprofit organization Girls in STEM. She is set to debut as a popular science author this fall with her book “Study with Me.”
  • Christer Sturmark: CEO and publisher at Fri Tanke, Sturmark will moderate the evening.
