What promises do tech hold for female health?
Join us for our third theme of the Epicenter Health and MedTech Innovations Days – The Rise of Femtech. A moderated lunch talk with a keynote speaker and a panel discussion with industry leaders.
Women make up roughly 50% of the world’s population, and the economic burden of women’s diseases is estimated to a staggering $500 billion as of today. Nonetheless, only 4% of global funding for research and development for healthcare products and services is invested in women’s health.
With the rise of FemTech – technology-driven innovations catering to women’s health – the stigma surrounding women’s health issues is being reduced and the quality of life for women improved. By the end of 2021, the global Femtech market is expected to reach $522 million – what promises do these new technologies hold for female health?
