Event Details

Are you an R&D manager, IP(intellectual property) coordinator, CEO or in any other managing position handling the intellectual property of the company? If so, make room in the calendar for the following training session. It’s time to get a clear view of a structured IP and development process!

We will guide you through a professional R&D model and how to use the IP tools before and during the development process. We will go in details in to 3 main stages:

1. Pre project stage- Feasibility phase: identifying strength, potential risks and identifying possible novelty features.
2. Development stage: Develop in house? Licence in rights? Licence out rights? Buy component/s? Produce component/s and where?
3. Pre-production and market stage: product tests and evaluation, market plans, Freedom To Operate.

By the end of this session, we hope you will have a better idea of how to advise your company or clients at every stage of their product development. From the feasibility phase of an initial idea, to market launch. You will also have a better understanding of how and when to use patents, NPL(Non Patent Literature) or any other IP information to get the maximum return on your R&D investment and at which stage to commission them.

The process we will focus on during the session, was developed based on long experience working with Industry and IP departments. It was written by our Swedish director, Claes Pantzar, who was the head of the patent department at Swedish patent office before going on to be CEO of Albihns (today Zacco).

Cant wait to see you there, don’t forget to sign up!
