The International Day of Families is observed on 15 May every year. The Day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993 and reflects the importance the international community attaches to families.
Let’s come together to celebrate Family Day and share our positive emotions with Ukrainian families.
Sweden and Ukraine have so much in common and one of the most basic things is to love protect and provide the best future for our children. We all want them to feel safe, to grow, and laugh. Family Day is an opportunity to show your humanity by welcoming and supporting.
We will celebrate it at Epicenter, on Sunday, June 5th, by inviting the young generations from our Community.
A day for kids to play, interact and experience together. And for parents, a time to relax and meet new friends. Together, we can build a happy and playful community.
Bring your kids, a niece, a neighbor, and why not your friend’s child? All kids are welcome!
What you and your kids can expect on this day?
- Flashmob Dance
- Movie Magic
- Face Paint
- Creative Corner
- Gift Corner – bring clothes and toys you don’t use anymore to find another happy owner
- Table Game – bring your own favorite one to play with new friends!
- Magician Show Charlie Caper
- Get moving with HealnessCo
- Digital Safari – test digital gadgets
- Playstation Games
- VR-boxing – innovating with kids
Don’t forget that “children see magic because they look for it”. Let yourself be inspired by the children around us, and bring back your more creative and playful self – at least for one day
