Event Details

Join us for this Innovation Breakfast to learn about e-sport and game-tech. Speakers from Haptiq, Salesscreen and Webstep will give us a talk on how a pandemic accelerated the need for game-tech, how gamification for sales grows revenue and gaming as a culture.

Arve Øverland – Haptiq

How has a pandemic accelerated the need for game-tech? Game-tech is not the understanding of a software platform. Game-tech is the creation of functioning virtual worlds.

Arve is the founder and Executive Officer at Haptiq. He is an experienced leader and entrepreneur of technology companies.

Remi Morken – Dogu SalesScreen

Remi will talk about how gamification for sales grows revenue and employee engagement:

  • A general overview of how gamification for sales teams work
  • A deep-dive in to the effect of gamification Pre- and Post COVID
  • How gamification keeps employees motivated and connected, even when WFH

Remi Morken, SVP Sales at SalesScreeb, has worked in sales management for the past 14 years and with gamification for the past 7 years. Insanely interested in KPI’s, gamification and the power of visualization.

Stian Storrvik – WebStep

In any professional setting, Stian Storrvik is a programmer for Webstep. But at home, he is Eiefant – a renowned commentator in e-sports, and well-known streamer in the PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUND community. His entire life, he has had a passion for e-sports and competing through games, and he is currently organizing two e-sport leagues; one for companies in IT, and one for more than 500 competitors every Wednesday.

This talk gives a brief overview of some attractive aspects of gaming, a peek through the window to the streamer and gaming culture, and a few examples of the power that the streamer influencers possess.

Stian has one goal for the talk: to spark a curiosity to explore gaming and e-sport as a culture, and to contribute with a small step towards normalizing e-sport and gaming as a legitimate hobby.
